Porting your phone number to Goodcall is simple, but it requires a few steps to ensure everything goes smoothly. You need to send us 2 documents: a port authorization and a recent bill for the phone number you want to port.

Step 1: Complete the Porting Authorization Form

  1. Download the Porting Authorization Form: Click here to download the form.

  2. Fill out all required fields. Make sure your name and service address match exactly with what’s on your billing statement.

  3. Sign the form. A signature is required to proceed with your port request.

Step 2: Gather Your Billing Documentation

Your current carrier requires proof that you own the number(s) you’re porting. Submit a recent bill in PDF format with your port authorization form. Here’s what you need to submit based on your carrier type:

  • Mobile Telco (ATT, Verizon, Comcast, etc): Your most recent billing statement. PDF format is preferred.

  • Google Voice Numbers: Take a screenshot of your Google Voice settings page. Ensure both your phone number and email address are clearly visible in the screenshot.

  • Toll-Free, Landline, or VoIP Numbers: Provide a copy of your most recent monthly bill that includes the phone number(s). If your provider doesn’t issue bills, include a receipt of your number purchase or a screenshot from your account portal showing the numbers.

Why is this needed? Your billing statement is used to verify that you own the number(s) being ported. If your documentation doesn’t match, the port request may be rejected by your current carrier.

Make sure:

  • Your billing document is clear and legible

  • The phone number(s) you want to port are clearly visible.

  • The service address matches what you entered on the Porting Authorization Form.

Step 3: Submit Your Documentation

Once you’ve completed the form and your last bill, email these 2 documents to our support team at [email protected]

What happens next after I submit my port request?

Do not cancel your current service until we let you know the transfer is completed. The service must be active in order for the transfer to complete. This can take up to 14 business days.

Once you’ve submitted everything, our team will handle the rest and you will receive updates throughout the process, and we’ll let you know as soon as your number is ready to be used in Goodcall.
